Visual Inspection / Initial Documents Review

 

Before getting into a hard commitment, it is vitally important to understand the real condition of the aircraft you are buying. We don’t rely on bright presentations and seek to see the aircraft and documents at its home base by ourselves – our engineers will help to determine the real condition of the aircraft and documents and make a weighted decision whether to continue to purchase.

Negotiating Purchase Agreement

 

This is another point where an experienced advisor will make the difference. Our sales team will work closely with your management company, legal and financial teams, call for assistance of aviation attorneys and tax advisors to cover all terms of sale – purchase amount, the deposit amount, terms and location of pre-purchase inspection, acceptance/rejection process, closing location and procedures, and a lot more. We will handle myriad aspects of the negotiation phase and closing process of the project for you.

Pre-purchase Inspection and Technical Acceptance

 

Do not try to cut corners with this stage even if the price is too appealing. It is important to select the maintenance facility that specializes on the specific model you are looking at and agree on specific terms on the scope of inspection. In-depth inspection will help determine the list of deficiencies & discrepancies existing on the aircraft that would otherwise be left unnoticed. Remember, the only time to claim fixes and negotiate further price reductions is before technical acceptance. 

Unlike many other brokers, our team will engage licensed airframe and power plant engineers to oversee the process. We will make sure your position is well protected, and no biases will affect the final agreement between you and the Seller.

Closing and delivery

 

Once the inspection has been concluded, any defects dealt with between the parties, and Technical Acceptance signed according to the contract, it is time to proceed to closing. While it is the last stage, there is a lot to coordinate. We will make sure that you are not getting any late surprises – the “title documents” are with the escrow agent and in good shape, VAT status at the place of closing is determined, all warranties and representations of the Seller are met, the aircraft is already insured, physically moved to an agreed closing location. Once all the “stars are aligned”, the closing will occur seamlessly.
